This article really makes me chuckle, because I feel Nascar is trying too much to be like Mommy. They wonder why seats are not selling as good as they could be. They wonder why tv ratings are down. Its because they wont even let the guys race. I realize economy has a part in it also.

What happened?

One day I tried to get on the web sight and nothing was there, it was not listed any more. I thought it was over and Scott just let it go away. I even had my friend try to log on and he could not get to the web sight either.

Then today I tried one last time and I am able to get on the sight.....what is going on?

Is this a sign that he might have money coming in to pay for his sight...meaning good news and information might be coming our way?

I hope so, watching...

Look out for deer as they are all over the place in Bahama now. The biggest I have seen in years is out around south lowell road and if you hit him, your car and perhaps yourself will suffer.

On another note I am wondering if BigMike is going to rally the Riggs helpers again this year? We are due to help some people so why not start getting folks involved? I am up for whatever so yall just let me know. We can use the shop if needed. I think maybe a fundraiser selling soup, stew,...

This morning my uncle at the young age of 45, and his birthday, passed away after a long and difficult battle with a blood disease and cancer. He was my idol, his work ethic was awe inspiring. But now he can walk without pain now for the first time in years.

Has anyone seen the Nascar Illustrated article on Scott. My daughter gave me a copy of the article that she got from Scott's dad Russell. I'm pretty sure it's in the newest edition. Lot's of good things said about Scott, but doesn't give a lot of hope for a ride. I don't post often, but I wanted to share this with all of you who keep me so well informed about Scott. I still think something good is bound to happen for him.

Well this weekend the NHS class of 89' is having their 20th year reunion in Durham and Chapel Hill. I hope those of you who have not signed up will find the time to go see your classmates from when life was so much easier and fun.....

It's been a long season, the high of Scott getting a ride and the hope of a new team to the low of Scott saying "I'm done driving for TBR" I respect Scott for saying I am not happy doing this style of racing and want to be competitive, but fear it might have hurt chances for other rides. There's no news about him getting a ride for 2010 with anything that has a motor and 4 tires; and I'm not sure how much time I'll be spending in Riggsville until there's...
